In Health we will be looking at food choice, exercise, bullying, dealing with emotions, teeth, seatbelts, handwashing and helmets. This is an important subject and often centers around how the students practice healthy living at home. Overview of the Subjects
Explore below to read a brief description of the main subjects 3A is learning about this year. In addition to these subjects 3A is also learning about: ART, MUSIC, PHYSICAL EDUCATION, ARABIC AND ISLAMIC/NON-ISLAMIC.
Our science classes are based around experimenting and exploring. We are going to move through four units this year. The first is all about PLANTS and each child will grow their own plant to learn about a plant's life cycle, parts and what plants need to survive. Students will also explore the units of: Soil, Magnets and Structures.
Since most of our science will be hands on, students need to give 100% of their focus in class. This is not a subject that will often be studied for at home.
