We are exploring the measurement of time using seconds, minutes, hours, days, weeks and years.

We are choosing the right unit to measure a given time. For example a season would be measured in months, not minutes. 

We are also looking at units of measure for length. We are using the metric system and choosing the proper units from millimeters to kilometers. We are also using referents (examples) to help us make good estimates of the length of a given object.
